The Pagode of Chanteloup comes to the edge of the forest of Amboise, at the edge of a vast room of semicircular water which persisted in the South by a big channel today greening and forming a boulingrin vast.

Domain also consisted of the castle of Chanteloup. Constructed in 1713 by Jean d' Aubigny, as for the princess of the Ursins, the castle and its gardens were extended and transformed from 1761 by Choiseul, the big minister of Louis XV. The castle was located north of the Pagode. Demolished in 1823, there remain there only two pavilions of forecourt.
